whoa, it's been quite some time since i last updated. come back from Japan din update tho i've been wanting to. haiiix. feels lik there are so many things i havn't done that i ought to. irritating feeling. very sian at the moment after surfing countless shopping sites online... been leaning on my right elbow so long that it hurts. oops.

well what have i been up to recently? been shopping and shopping and shopping a lot =) online! currently waiting for my purchases to arrive.. guess most will arrive by this weekend. 2ml i'm also gonna meet up with a seller after my physio to collect some of the goods.. quite excited cuz got quite a few dresses in that purchase. can't wait to receive the clothes i ordered!

on another note tho, i've decided not to shop so much online cuz was walkin ard AMK hub yesterday after driving and realised that alot of the clothes i see online are similar to those that i can find in shops.. and shopping online is risky cuz of my tricky body proportions.. haha.. so i shall online get those which i find really unique (despite searching ard for similar pieces) and those which capture my heart (but don't bust my wallet). i've got quite a few reliable URLs i can go to for my shopping fix.. alr plundered through their archives too. eh my wallet actually alr busted la.. that's why now im so sian instead of enthu. haha. and my mom found out abt my recent activities and scolded me so this adds to my sian-ness... and some of the stuff i bought don't look nice on my full hips =( ohwell.

sigh.. been really slacking ard these few days.. today i woke up at 1+ pm and ate lunch all the way til 4+ pm LOL. watching tv and what not. try to beat that :p there are so many things i have to do =( lik clean up the rest of my room.. clean up all the dead plant materials.. tackle the mealybugs which by now have alr colonized my plants due to my negligence (but i'm still heck abt it).. start exercising.. go for driving lessons more often.. wear my retainers for real... oh sigh, when oh when shall i redeco my room? :'( so tragic.

anyway, Japan was rather fun i guess, overall. there were lousy parts and there were really great parts.. but i'm just rather so-so about the whole trip. like this time my bro's gf went along so i was e only single person in my family.. had to see lovey-dovey coupleness the whole trip.. wtf.. missing dear badly through e whole trip din help =.= esp the last part where we cldnt contact each other at all cuz he went off for field camp. wah that's when i felt truly alone manz.. like when we went for seafood dinner at this portside restaurant and it was raining and i was walking through the freezing air-conditioned store for frozen seafood by myself and feeling totally miserable (and freezing). haiix.. if only dear had been there to warm me up (or perhaps i wldve been the one warming him up lol. nonetheless we'll still be warmer together than if i were alone). yeah that's just one of the incidents when the loneliness got really intense. and all the super long bus rides with me staring out the window and thinking about dear and life back home, while eyeing my brother n his gf leaning on each other in the seats right in front of me. sad times. yeah made me realise that the best holidays are the ones when ure loved one(s) is right next to you. or at least holidays without things ard to make u feel shitty la. the time will come i guess... one day.

alright more about Japan proper. first thing i noticed when i got there was the infamous Japanese toilet bowl which has options to clean ure ass for u by spraying water, pre-warms the toilet seat, produces flushing sounds for u to mask ure usual embarrassing toilet symphonies, even has deodorizer so u dun have to worry about the subsequent toilet user giving u a dirty look after u've had stinky diarrhea or smth. quite scary at first but after i got over the initial shock of having water sprayed on my butt, i kept using it all the time. lol. yeah it's really convenient for when after u have a messy shit. and the warm toilet seats feel good during winter :P hehe. i took pics! (actually i took pics of almost everything la. i follow in my dad's footsteps :p)

the service standard in Japan is excellent. and this is even when they don't understand english and u can't speak a word of jap, which is really saying smth. the service staff in Japan are always extremely polite, bowing here n there n always saying "welcome" when we arrive and "thank you" when we leave (all in jap, of course). lik ALL the staff will bow and greet u lo. even if u don't show e slightest intention of buying smth they will still greet u. they're always smiling and they don't really pressure you. haiix after bein in Japan i realise our service standard in singapore is really lacking -.- so sad

the weather when we went there was kinda cold.. it's the beginning of summer and durin the nights it'll be lik freezing. hokkaido was cold. but tokyo was slightly warmer. the dry air always made my cough act up n all.. i went to Japan with cough n phelgm marh. kept coughing over there, having coughing fits n all; sometimes in between a meal i'd suddenly start coughing uncontrollably and i'd have to quickly drink some water b4 i coughed my guts out. my skin also got really really dry. i think over there i hardly sweated at all. oh but i din let my cough stop me from eating all i wanted.. i think i onli stayed away from orange juice throughout my trip. yeah that's pretty much it about the weather i guess.. it onli rained lik 1 or 2 days throughout my trip there. it rained the day i flew back tho, was kinda worried bout that..

all the toilets in japan are higher than or at least equal to spore standard. like im really impressed by some of the toilet designs. ingenious. like even for the squatting pans, they position the tissue right in front of where u squat. so convenient aint it? not like singapore must reach all the way back and to the side and ill usually end up cramping my shoulders in the process. the high grade toilets all smell e same tho. this weird sweet perfume smell. dun realli like it.

hmm k my maid is rushing me to go for dinner. guess i'll update more bout Japan next time. lol. i realise i havn't really said much bout it except for the toilets. LOL. kk more next time then =p
